Bass fishing was a bit tougher than last week, but limits can still be obtained with some work. A lot of the fish are in the 20’ to 30’ range but these have been hard to catch. There are still some largemouth on the bank that are willing to bite rip baits, jigs, senkos and small swimbaits. Most of the biters are in the 1 to 2 pound range, with the occasional 3 to 5 pounder mixed in. Bluegill are still biting, although many of these have been small ones averaging about .25 lbs. No catfish were reported to the marina last week.
