Attention Boaters: There is an impassable boating hazard on the Necanicum River between Klootchie county park and the Hwy 101 boat ramps. (Exact location 45.96553, -123.92740). Boaters should avoid this obstruction for the time being.
The Necanicum River closes to fishing on April 1 to protect spawning wild steelhead and out-migrating juveniles. It will reopen on May 22.
