This could be the go-to lake in the next few lakes. The early spring is the time to find the fish working the edges of the flats looking for emerging mayflies. It may be a little early for Callibaetis, but don't forget to take several sizes of Adams from #12 - 16 just in case. Balanced Leeches and Wooly Buggers in brown, black and olive will get you a lot of action, there are a ton of dragons and damsels here. Stripped slowly, or under an indicator, this will be you go to method to hook up. If you have a motor, head up and fish the dam outflow, it can be spectacular.
