The Nehalem River is high and off color as of this writing, and this large river can take a long time to drop and green up. In addition, many Chinook have migrated upstream above the fishery at this point, although there are still some fresh fish coming in. The upstream fishing deadline for Chinook on the Nehalem River is the Foss Road Bridge at River Mile 15.1
