The fishing at Pyramid has been really good. There still are some slow days out there but for the most part we are having a great spring season. Reports are coming in daily of fish in the 8 to 15 pound range. The water is holding steady around 48 degrees. Storms are expected in the area over the next week so the water temperature probably will not change much. Stripping Wooly worms with a tadpole dropper has been working very well. Nymphing either under an indicator or stripping them in very slowly with a 12 foot 2x leader is also catching a lot of fish. Red Maholo nymphs and black Maholo midges continue to be the go to fly for nymphing. Shooting head flies include: Bloody Mary\'s, Midnight Cowboy\'s and Chartreuse and White tadpoles for sure. Look for the fishing to remain good for the next month at least.
