Pyramid opened on October 1st with a bang. The fishing in the fall can be all over the map. Sometimes it is tough and sometimes it can be really good. Most of the reports we have been getting are pretty good so far. It seems like most of the fish are being caught at some of the beaches that have access to deeper water. Wino Beach, Monument, Block House and Spider Point are good places to start. Faster sinking shooting heads are a must to get your flies down in a little deeper water. Bloody Mary's, Martini Olive's and Tui Chub imitations are hard patterns to beat. Days with some could cover and or some chop on the water are the best days to go.
