Trout are going deeper: about 15-18 feet below the surface. Anglers have been doing pretty well, especially from the boats, with bass and catfish on the bite – the bass are hitting on lures and Power Worms; the catfish on chicken livers and nightcrawlers. A 1,200 pound plant of catfish was planted Wednesday.
