A 13 pound brown trout was caught with Power Bait on Sunday. A 7 pound rainbow was caught with a mice tail the same day. Bite in general has been very good. Most action is from boats. June Lake Marina (760) 648-7726; Traffic has dropped off and so has the bite, although the lake was planted with trout on Tuesday. Gull Lake Marina (760) 648-7539; We have been a little slow on the consistent side of fishing lately but still have seen a good number of larger Rainbows brought in this past week. We have seen about 10 fish weighing in over 3 pounds and four fish weighing in over 5 pounds just this past week. The fishing has been slow mid day when it has been hot and we have seen the best results early in the morning and later in the afternoon when it is cooler and the shadows are on the water. We did receive 400 pounds from DFW this week with roughly 100 pounds of those being larger 2 plus pound Rainbows. Anglers have continued to see the best results down at the bottom of the lake in the cooler waters using Berkley products from dough baits with Garlic in them to Mice Tails of all colors. Silver Lake (760) 648-7525
