Shore fishing has improved a bit. Most get 3 to 4 fish per outing on the east shore from Mallard to the dam. Rainbow Power Bait, corn-flavored Power Bait and inflated nightcrawlers have been producing. Fishing is best from 7 a.m. to noon. Only shallow draft boats can get out. Trollers get about 1 fish per hour with wedding rings/nightcrawlers, Wee Dick Nites and Needlefish. Water temperature is 62 degrees and lake is 46% of capacity.
