We are still full and slowly flowing over the spillway. We planted a large load this last Friday the 18th of 3600lbs (20% Trophy size). The Fish Sniffer's Derby was a huge success on Saturday, still waiting on the results to be posted. The Trout are still in the top 5ft of water with Power Bait, Power worms, and Lures working well for shore fisherman. Boaters have been trolling the outer edges of the lake with Spinners and Broken Back Fire Tiger Rapalas. Also, they have been drifting Power Bait about 100ft behind the boat with a small weight to keep it just under the surface. Boaters have also been heading up to Jackson Creek and fishing the back of the lake. Right now with water flowing over the spillway its a good spot to do some fun fly fishing. The Clubhouse is now open later for our summer hours: Sun.-Thurs. from 6am-7pm; Fri.- Sat. from 6am-10pm. The gates to the back of the campgrounds are open for full use. If you didn't get your Easter camping reservations in, there are still some campsites available on a first come first serve basis. Don't forget to check us out on Facebook for more catches and details!
