Hyatt Lake has been stocked with legal-sized and trophy-sized rainbow trout, and fishing for these stocked trout has been very good. Trolling, casting lures and still fishing with bait should all produce trout. Fishing for largemouth bass has been slow, but should improve with the warm weather forecast for this week. The reservoir is 70 percent full, and the BLM campgrounds and boat ramps are now open.
