And the cats just keep on coming. Yes the catfish bite has been non stop for months now soaking cut mackeral or night crawlers flylined or just a split shot will get you lots of catfish.

The fish are running between a half pound up to "Aww heck i just got spooled", so be prepared As for the bass they are being taken on crank baits, spinner baits, rattle traps, and flylined crawlers. You can see the fish swimming up against the rocky parts of the shoreline, so for you guys that like to sight fish the fish are up on top. Also we get out first trout plant on Nov. 8 Election Day so don't forget to fish, i mean vote.

Tidbit: A sterile triploid trout has 3 chromasomes instead of two, this is a naturally occurring event. at a certain time in egg development the egg sheds one chromasome making it fertile. When the eggs are put under pressure, 10,000 psi for five minutes, this keeps the egg from releasing the third chromasome thus rendering the eggs sterile.
