The water level is low but that just means there are fewer places for the fish to hide. Bass are being caught on shiners, plastics, swim baits and crank baits. Large panfish are coming in to spawn and are being caught from the shore. Catfish are consistenly caught in late afternoon on mackerel, shrimp and even crank baits now and then.

The San Diego Bass Masters held a family tournament on 04/01/17. Zoe and Vicki caught the big fish at 5.35Ibs and Bud and Nick got 5 fish for the largest bag at 10.16Ibs.
