Oh Yeah, Its On! We released 3600lbs of Lightning Trout yesterday 4/24/17, on top of Friday 4/21!!! Trout are somehow still shallow 5-7ft deep and relatively close to shore. Many boaters have been bait fishing the shore line in the back of the lake with great success. Shore fisherman have been doing good pretty much all around. Night Crawlers, Garlic PowerBait, and Power Eggs are doing good. When the sun is out shining Kastmasters work well. Bass are still on the shore and fishing has been great. Some of the Bass have already spawned while others are just getting on their beds. For those of you that don't know our baby Donaldson Trout are hatching! We have been continually posting videos of their progress on Facebook, so check it out. In other News, the Café is now open until 8pm on Saturdays for the duration of the Summer!! We are also doing special Dinners on Saturdays this Summer as well that are by Reservation only!! We will have the full Menu for each month on our website.

Lately fishing has been better in the morning for all anglers. Fish seem to be shallower in the morning hours (about 5ft) and slightly deeper (up to 10-15ft) by the afternoon. Either way all reports weather shallow or deeper are that Trout are close to shore. PowerBait, Power Worms, Mice Tails, and Night Crawlers are working well. Trolling with Rapalas with orange like the Fire Tiger and the Perch have been doing well....... Read More
