The pond is still fishing very well, they are diverting some irrigation water to it to keep the temperatures down during these hot months up here. Stripping leech patterns has been good as well as a little dry action and some dry/dropper action. The weeds are starting to grow so there’s no need to go too deep with your bugs. Patterns to try include: zebra midge, hare’s ear, zack attack leech, mayer’s mini leech, seal bugger, dainty damsel, stillwater nymph, elk hair caddis.
