The lake temperature is up to a scalding 80 degrees which has made the fish head for cooler water. The Bass have settled into deeper water and Ty Turpin caught 9.5Ib bass fishing Alvarado Bay using a dark colored 6" plastic worm. A few bass have been caught near the tules by the buoy line using crank baits. Some panfish are being caught in the coves using night crawlers.

Water temperature is up to 78 degrees and the bass are responding. A Float Tuber reported 3 bass up to 8 pounds using a purple 6inch Jelly Worm all out of Alvarado Bay. All fish were released. The bass bite continues to be at its best. The fish are about 15 to 20 feet deep and are hanging right above the brush. 4 and 6 inch purple plastic worms are producing the best bites. One float tuber reported 2 bass in Alvarado Bay dragging a 6 inch purple Manns. Both fish were released. The panfish are biting in the arms using red worms and wax worms. ...... Read More
