Murray Reservoir - La Mesa, CA (San Diego County)

The morning bite has been offering good action with top water and crank baits pulling in some nice bass. Drop shotting purple or watermelon plastics seems to work best in the middle of the day and live Shiners are producing fish throughout the day. The panfish bite has been fairly consistent with lots of small to medium specimens coming in close to shore. Tim Hanson and his son caught an even dozen in the last hour of the day using Meal Worms on a bobber along the shoreline in San Carlos Bay. Pat Swanson caught two nice Catfish totalling 10 pounds in late afternoon from the fishing pier.
