The famous half-pounder run of steelhead on the Klamath River lives on. Half-pounders are steelhead that range from 3 to 5 pounds and return home every fall to fiest on the salmon eggs, and aquatic bugs kicked loose during the salmon spawn. Once the spawn starts the steelhead really key in on the easy meal targets and my costomers have had some amazing days.
