The Bass bite has remained consistent with most of the action happening early and in late afternoon. There has been a little top water action but most reaction bites are on crank baits and jerk baits. Drop shotting plastics is producing the most fish in the middle of the day and as always, live Shiners are the easiest way to catch a Bass at any point of the day. The Panfish have moved to deeper water but are still feeding when you can find them. Mike Walters pulled a nice 8-pound Catfish off the fishing pier on Wednesday right as the sun went down.
