I am pleased to show our local trout anglers Tony Smith and Chris Duncan with a couple they landed in the rotary park area. while fishing from shore and using night crawlers they landed a couple each. You can these are a quality size trout that our willow beach hatchery is providing. speaking of the hatchery they are now stocking at community park and Davis Camp. I am hearing that power bait and night crawlers are doing well. spinners like a panther martin and various crappie jigs are also working. the striper bite this time of year can produce some of our larger fish. So make sure you have fresh line and a good knot. Now is a great time for you trout anglers to catch a few of these stripers as these line sides tend to go after the trout.  I hope to have you bring in a couple.
