Bass, Trout, and Catfish seems to be the most common catch! Crappie are finally showing up! Check out these locations: Harvey's Cove [Bass/Catfish], Sweet-water Bay [Trout], Clark's Cove [Trout] Cachuma [Bass/Trout], Crappie [private dock], Johnson Bay [Large Mouth], Santa Cruz Bay [Catfish/ Trout ] and Bobcat's cove [catfish]. For those that may want to fish for Trout, the fishing is going long great. They're at about 02 feet from surface, add a split shot or an egg sinker to achieve the necessary depths. Neon green or a generally neon jig have been proven most effective. Utilizing garlic night crawlers or Mackerel has been the bait trend for Catfish. Firetiger Flickers shads or garlic powerbait has been working very well for trout rubber worms/shad or white crank bait or black and yellow Panther Martins have been effective for Large and Small Mouth Bass. Side note: Shore fishing has been slow, come to the bait shop and rent a boat for a better catch result. All fishing this week has been slow due to weather changes. Check out 805webcam for weather conditions and scenic views.
