Anglers should be prepared for winter conditions. With campground and jetty access closures in place, angler access is primarily from the bank along Hyatt Prairie Road. Bank fishing from the dam has been slow but a few 14- to 16-inch trout have been caught with PowerBait. The lake is 40 percent full.
