Lake Pardee has risen to 101% of capacity, and the heavy flows down
the Mokelumne River have brought into the system heavy floating
debris of all shapes and sizes. The lake will be producing fish once
again as soon as the lake level drops. Right now it is a challenge to
keep your line clear.

Due to water releases into the Delta and the recent storm fronts to hit California the waters are stained with poor clarity. This has caused the striped bass fishing to slow down, but it is expected to rebound with more stable weather. On the Sacramento River side of the Delta the waters are downright muddy with poor water clarity.  If sturgeon fishing is on your platter stay in the Sacramento River. The lakes Bluegill population has woken up, as many anglers were scoring some of the big bulls this past week. Nightcrawlers drop shotted, or under a slip bobber was the key to success. Rocky areas of the Toll Road Arm and Barona Arm produced the best numbers. The bass bite has been very good, with fish in all stages of the spawn being caught, all over the lake.
