Captain Jeff Spafford called in from the Tomahawk this morning with an update from the Bluefin Grounds. We are on day 2 of our 2.5 day trips. Yesterday the weather was up so we took shelter at San Clemente Island. We had good rock fishing with between 140 and 150 Rockfish for the day. The weather laid down last night so we slide out to the Bluefin Grounds. We boated two Bluefin Tuna on our first stop. We had one fish that weighs 130 pounds. We also had one that looks to be 150+. It is possible it could be up to 180 pounds. We are seeing lots of fish in the area. Check out the Tomahawk website for our upcoming schedule and come on out fishing with us!
