Fishing over the past week has been great for bass, stripers, and catfish both off shore and around the lake. Small striper boils are starting to be seen around the lake and anglers have been catching them using baits like sardines, lugworms, and smaller lures. Best spots from shore have been along the canal by the entrance booth and along the rip rap in front of the boat shop. Catfish have mainly been caught in coves around the lake using chicken liver, anchovies, and nightcrawlers. Bass have been biting all around the lake, mainly along the shorelines on reaction baits and plastics.
