The Virginias are, as usual, still hanging in there. Lots of nice fish being caught on all 3 lakes. Fly anglers are using small streamers like twin lakes specials, wooly buggers and leech patterns with soft hackle, zug bug and pheasant tail droppers. They’ve also been picking up some fish on top with beetle and ant patterns. Bait anglers are doing well with pinched crawlers, powerbait and mice tails. Lure anglers are doing well, mostly early and late in the day, with kastmasters, thomas bouyants and panther martins.
