The water on the West is very low this time of the year but if you kick it into stealth mode and search out the deeper pools and runs you should be able to get into some good fish. Fly anglers are still using dry/dropper rigs though they’re calling for some weather change this week so I would suggest being prepared with some attractor nymphs like princes, hare’s ears and pheasant tails if it rains. Bait anglers can go with eggs and crawlers and lure anglers can’t go wrong with panther martins and rooster tails.
