Bridgeport was fairly tough for the first part of the week but the last couple days it livened up quite a bit, yesterday we had a 7.75 pounder and a 5.5 pounder come in.  The bait fishing off of Rainbow Point has picked up again, it seems it’s best to get far enough away from the shore to get away from the crawdads.  Mice tails, power bait and inflated crawlers have all been doing well.  The trolling has been good with crawlers, Rapalas and needlefish.  There’s been good numbers of 2 to 4 pounders and some nice 1 to 3 pound browns showing up as well.  There has been a few fish being caught from the shore down at the North end of the lake but the action is overall pretty slow.  This should get better as the water gets colder and the algae goes away.
