Stripping Streamers Would be a Good Call

Bridgeport has been a bit hit and miss lately, there have been some good days as well as some not so good days.  There are a few fish starting to be caught from the shore down at the North end of the lake but by no means is it red hot.  The trolling has been fair with some nice 1 to 2 pound browns as well as some 1 to 3 pound rainbows making a showing.  There’s been a few fish in the 5 and 6 pound range coming in but most are in the 1 to 3 pound class. Bait fishing from boats has also been fair with anglers reporting having some success with pinched crawlers, inflated crawlers and power bait.  We haven’t had any reports on fly fishing lately but typically this time of the year stripping streamers would be a good call, wither near the inlets or down near the dam.
