Fishing is still on the bright side. Pan fish has been active around Vaca Flat, as well as the cove near the Marina. Nice bluegill and redear have been pulled in using worms, as well as jigs. Bass are still active, but not as they were last week. Crankbait, swimbait and senkos have been doing well. Catfish, up to 17 pounds are being hauled in at the grassy areas around lake using Mackeral as well as chicken livers and anchovies.

Temperature was taken at the Marina. Fishing has been robust this week. Bass are hitting on Senkos and still appear to be more active at the Narrows swallower grassy area of the lake. Catfish are hitting on various baits, but anchovies are the more popular this week. Swallow grassy areas appear to be the hot spot. Panfish, bluegill and red ear are doing well on jigs and night-crawlers. Not hearing much from the Crappie anglers this week. ...... Read More

Fishing has been steady here at the lake. Catfish are being caught off of Mackeral and Pan fish off of worms and jigs. Bass are doing well off of usual baits and have been hitting in shallow water at the Narrows. ...... Read More
