11/7/18 - Father an Son time on the water is always special, these are my favorite type of trips, making memories and catching fish. 

Fishing action on the Klamath is fantastic. Steelhead and Trout continue to sit near spawning salmon and gorge themselves on eggs and bugs. My clients Ben and Steve hooked some hot fish yesterday and some of the best drag ripping fish of the season so far.

All these fish in the river are completing for the same meals and this is making for some ferocious bites. The little fish are faster and the bigger fish know if they don't get to meal first they loose out and this made for some awesome strikes and hook ups. 

Hearing the drag sing and seeing these streaking silvery rainbow bullets grab and run is pretty awesome.
