The season for Chinook salmon and hatchery steelhead is open through Dec. 31. Chinook retention is open from the mouth to the bridge at mile post 1.5 on Floras Creek. The fishery typically turns on when the bar opens up after fall rainfall. Please note: there is an aggregate bag limit rule for Floras/New, Sixes, and Elk Rivers for wild Chinook.
