11/24,25/18 -  Spent the weekend chasing Big Bows and Browns with Conner on Shasta Lake.  We caught some, lost some,  and we let em all go to be caught another day. 

Conner and fished a lot of water, mainly searching for that Trophy Brown this past weekend. Along the way we caught some big fat Bass,  Rainbows, and even a hard fighting pike minnow. We did have success in finding that big elusive Brown. The big Brown smashed a lathered up Pro-Cure Carpspit Optimizer spoon trolled at varying speed.

I say various speeds because the speeding and slowing s turns is what gets the fish to bite. Almost every fish has been caught while causing the lure to change action. Whatever works right!
