What a Winter we’ve had! Took a drive up toward the Lake Saturday, yup, there’s snow! CalTrans has one lane plowed after the locked gate in Aspendell up to Camp Sabrina where the Country takes over and plows to the parking lot. There’s about 3-4 feet of snow on the road.

We’re thinking ice-fishing this year, but we’ll let you know conditions just as soon as we know. We’re hoping to get the Café opened for Fishmas, but with the State mandated water start-up procedure (which is a good thing) and quite a bit of Spring cleaning to do only time (and energy) will tell.

Intake 2 is still on the low side – we’ll try and find out what the plans are. County has plowed the South Lake side to just below Parchers Resort.
 
If you plan on hiking with CalTrans or the County is working, please stay out of their way!
