The weather has been pleasant. Trout, bass, crappie and catfish are being caught on garlic scented night crawlers, regular night crawlers, rapalas, kastmasters and crappie jigs. A young angler caught a 2.5 pounds bass with a wacky rig, watermelon red and black trolling by the wall. The trout are deep, 50to 60 feet. Bass are still spawning, take your boat by the reeds and you can see them on the beds.

The fishing derby is April 27 and 28. All of our boats are reserved for the derby. We will open at 5am on Saturday and Sunday for the derby. All dock hands will be on staff to assist anglers with their boat rentals, fishing license and tackle needed. Good luck to all of you anglers!
