Huli Cat went on a salmon crab combo today, however the salmon were reluctant to participate. Captain Michael Cabanas and Deckhand Mike Juanes opted for a rockfish and crab combo off of Deep Reef In 220ft of water after a few hours of no salmon. Shivnel Deo from Hayward with a copper and canary rockcod up to 1lbs caught on shrimp flys. Jason Knight from Danville with a canary rockcod caught on shrimp flys and Nate Rubin from Danville with a 3lbs Vermillion caught on a live bait rig and mackerel. Brian Brock from Antioch and John Edwards from Larthrop with a pot pulled up with 20 crab. Ocean conditions were breezy with rolling swell. Salmon scores were somewhat disappointing, the Huli Cat crew switched over to see folks came home with fish and Dungeness Crab!
