You can't go wrong fishing McCloud reservoir right now. Yesterday, my clients and I got out on water early and as long as we had a Sep's Dodger in Silver prism with a worm trailer in the water we had action.

I tried other gear had a little action but the steady eddy all morning and into the afternoon was the Seps and worm dipped in Pro-Cure shrimp krill oil. A 30 plus fish day was no problem.

The fish are not big but they are spunky and plentiful. The weather is gorgeous and water is most beautiful blue right now. The local Eagles and Osprey are out showing off, and the peek of Mt Shasta is looking quite majestic when you get to that right spot on the reservoir.
