Trout Continue to Be Deep

It is really warm out. Trout contains to be deep at least 65 feet and by the dam. Try floating a night crawler by blowing up the worm with worm blower and let it drift. 5 bass, 1 trout and 3 crappie were caught on a night crawler on September 1. Bluegill are biting on meal worms. Catfish continue to be caught off of Arrowhead Island using gulp catfish bait. Fish bite best I the morning wet it is cool. Crappie is still being caught as well on nightcrawler. We are going to change our hours soon, keep an eye out for updates.

It has been really warm out. The trout are very deep at least 65 feet and by the dam. A couple nice catfish were caught on Monday with garlic worms. In Cachuma bay 3 large mouth bass were caught on robo worms and bluegill were caught in Johnson Bay on night crawlers. Catfish were also caught off of Arrowhead Island using gulp catfish bait. Two 2 pound bass were caught off Arrowhead Island on garlic worms. In Cachuma Bay 4 Bluegill, 2 large bass, 1 small bass and 2 catfish were caught using garlic worms. An angler used a black and silver flicker shad on Saturday and he caught 2 crappie, 2 smallmouth and 13 largemouth.
