The summer heat seems to be subsiding somewhat at Lake Perris this week! Fishing has been good, but due to so much water activity on the weekends we are recommending you come out during the week. We’ve seen a couple of good sized catfish this week, a 19 pound Channel cat was caught out of Sail Cove. The bass and bleugill are still doing really well also. The bass are averaging about 3-4 pounds but there have been a few this week that have been in the 5-7 pound range. Angels are continue to pull out stringers of bluegill, 10 lb. stringers! The backside of the island seems to still be a favored spot for both bluegill and bass!
