South Lake
We’ve had some inconsistent weather as of late but while it’s been cold, the fish have been on the chew. DFW stocking levels leave something to be desired but it’s certainly improved over last fall. Thankfully, we’ve had 3 loads of trophy fish this September and they’re on the chew. It’s quality over quantity with not huge numbers but lots and lots of quality fish. Biggest of the week went 5lbs 2oz but plenty of fish in the 3-4lb range were caught, many released.

The inlets and points in the back of the lake is where it’s at. The rockslide and west shore is also good, although the fish are more spread out so drifting had been effective.

Hot Baits: Nightcrawlers, Gulp Pinched Cralwers
Hot Lures: Sierra Slammer jigs - sand shiner, grasshopper, rainbow sparkle, Red/gold Thomas Buoyants, Rapalas ,Panther Martins.

Bishop Creek
Flows are low and super fishable. A creek stocking last week helped the bite out a bit but folks should move from spot to spot to find fish that were washed down from obvious locations during the heavy flows of summer. Salmon eggs, spinners are your best bet.

North Lake
Not a lot of fishing reports, mostly photo reports, but some sized rainbows and browns are in the mix.
