The weather has been mild during the day and windy in the afternoon. A great week for fishing! Trout are starting to bite on garlic worms and trolling with lures. They are 12 to 29 inches in size. Catfish are being caught off the shore at Drake Cove and off boats. They are biting on garlic worms and range in size from 3 lbs. to 7.5 lbs. bass are being on drop shot, garlic worms and gold rap alas. A little girl names Siena caught her first fish, a catfish this weekend.

The weather has been mild durning the day and windy in the afternoon. The lake was closed due to high winds on September 26. A few fishers reported catching fish this week. Trout and bass were caught trolling with a J-11 Rapala Rainbow trout. Bass and catfish are being caught on garlic worms. A few bluegill were caught near Arrowhead Island on mealworms. It is still warm doing the day. 10 largemouth bass were caught off the wall by the points of land, and 15 feet from the point on pumpkinseed power worms and drop shot. Catfish were reported everywhere from 3 lbs. on garlic night crawlers. Crappie were caught by the floating dock.
