Water Conditions: Good
Flows are at 147 cfs as of 1/2
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good
Really nothing new to add outside of the BWO hatches should start piching up towards the end of the month. The fishing has been good on the Lower Owens now that the flows have dropped. Like everywhere else, this time of year midges are the primary hatch going but there are sporadic Baetis and Caddis midday. Try Pheasant Tail and Hare's Ear in different styles. Mornings have been more productive than afternoons so it's not a bad idea to be on the water by 9. As far as where to fish the rule of thumb is, the colder the night before the further upstream you start fishing.
DRIES: Midge patterns but very little surface activity
NYMPH: Pheasant Tail #14-22 | Hares Ear #16-22 | Zebra Midge #18-22
STREAMERS: Wooly Bugger Olive & Black #10-12 | Mini Sculpin Olive & Black #10-12
