The bass continue to be the big story. Most were caught from baits, using jigs, lures and drop shots with roboworms. The popular lures are Rapalas, S Wavers and Flicker Shads. Trolling is very successful, especially but the dam. We’re still over 70% water capacity, well about the spillway, so no trout plants are schedules.

The bass bite is excellent all around the lake, on and off the shore. Those willing to share said they used Robo worms and mondo worms. A sunfish was caught just past the buoys. The weather continues to be cool in the mornings and sunny in the afternoon. The lake has been hitting for the past few weeks. Several have been reported as large as 20” both small and largemouth.
