Warmer than normal rain this past week cause some snow melt and completely changed the Klamath over night.

A few days ago in the wee hours of the morning the Klamath flow was nearly double from the day before. That was quite a surprise putting the boat in that morning for sure. Then rising killed the bite that day.

Having great clients in that situation always helps and we all decided battled through the conditions. The next day with the river having been at the higher flow but not rising we had a little action and caught a couple nice fish.

Yesterday, my clients and fished dropping water and had a better bite not red hot but better then the past two days. We will be back out today fishing and enjoying giving it the good old college try. Can't catch fish if you don't try right?
