The Sturgeon bite has been good the past few weeks on the Columbia river for retention of sturgeon. This fishery runs off of a quota of 350 fish and we are 1/2 way there this week. I predict this fishery to stay open for a few more weeks if not running into March.  The size we can retain are 42-60" total length. Squid, smelt and herring has been the bait of choice injected with pro cure scents.
