The bass bite was solid this week. Spinner baits, rattle traps, and sinking Rapala’s were the ticket. A bass tournament was held this past Saturday and anglers were bringing back boat loads of fish. Not certain what the winning weigh in amount was but the completion was strong. The bass were great size and or caught in large amounts. Catfish are living frozen shad both on the bottom with a weight or the top with a bobber. Crappie color of the week is black and silver in an extra small minnow looking plastic. All the crappie we have heard about were just the right size to filet and eat.
