Flows: 1,800 cfs.

Water clarity: Clear.

Steelhead fishing is slow, but picking up a little bit.  Hooked and lost one on a half day trip this morning, and a couple of fish over 30" were caught last week.

Anglers are averaging 0-2 fish per day.  Due to low flows, wade access is great.

Nymphing beads/eggs and caddis patterns between Hazel Avenue and Bradshaw Road is productive.  Focus on the deeper pockets and traveling lanes to avoid disturbing the spawning fish on the gravel bars.

With low precipitation in the forecast through the end of February, fishing conditions are not expected to change anytime soon.
