Today Captain Justin Thompson and I had the priviledge to fish with Scott Kaul and Chris Turvey of Brads Killer Fishing Gear. We had an excellent day of fishing and the weather was perfect. The majority of the day was spent setting rods rigged with Kokanee Cut Plugs. We caught some great fish and made a full day of fishing out of todays adventure. I learned a lot about some Brad's Killer Fishing Gear I havent really spent a lot of time fishing. Todays bite was a little tougher than it has been this past week, but we still didn't have a problem getting some nice rainbows and a King salmon in the net. We're looking forward to expanding our knowledge of the deadly Kokanee Cut Plugs this summer and know they will certainly put a lot of trout and salmon in the ice chest for our clients this summer on Shasta Lake. Stay tuned for future reports here and look at our website blogs for more information on how to catch trout and salmon on northern California lakes in the weeks to come.
