Extremely hot days made for a slow bite, but if you got out early fishing was good. Late evening is the best for those larger bass it seems this week. The bass have been hitting on frozen baits more often than plastics or worms from what I hav experience and gathers. Crappie are few and far between still. Bluegill are loving the larger worms lately.
