Anglers have reported striper boils during the first couple hours of the day out by the Island, Serrano Cove, and Yellow Bar areas. People have been having luck using top water baits, jerkbaits, and different styles of swim baits. Other people have also had luck fishing down deep throughout the day using spoons or cut bait throughout the coves and off steeper walls. Bass have also been biting well during the morning hours along the shorelines of the lake using weedless type setups, frogs, and various soft plastic baits. Trout are still being caught throughout the coves of the lake down deep mainly on nightcrawlers and powerbaits using longer leaders to deal with the grass. The canal by the entrance booth has been a great spot throughout the day to catch stripers and trout and along the rip rap in front of the boat shop.

Current Hours are from 6am-8pm.
